If you leave from Mérida, Valladolid, or Tizimín, you can opt for a bus to Río Lagartos. Once there, a short cab ride will take you directly to this paradise.
If you prefer to drive, take federal highway 295 from Valladolid, accessed via the Mérida-Cancún highway. Continue north and, just before Río Lagartos, you will find the turnoff to Las Coloradas. This route is not only direct, but also allows you to enjoy the beautiful Yucatecan scenery along the way.
