The title of Pueblo Magico is awarded to communities that have maintained their original architecture, traditions, history and culture for a long time. In addition, they are closely related to the history of the country.

Bacalar

Considered one of the most popular jewels of the Mexican Caribbean. If there is something that defines this recently declared Magical Town, it is the beauty of its landscape, its famous archaeological zone and its attractive beach, considered one of the best in the region.

For its ruins on the shores of the Caribbean Sea, it is a must-see attraction and the best example of Mayan charm; besides being the only archaeological site located on the edge of a cliff, Playa Paraiso is the best beach in the Riviera Maya for most tourists. It is one of the most beautiful beaches and probably the most portrayed beach.

Tulum shows nature in all its splendor. It is a colorful destination with several wild attractions such as cenotes, lagoons and natural areas of great interest for ecotourism enthusiasts. In addition, this magical town has several sites for bike rides, water attractions and other adventure tourism related activities.

What makes Tulum different is that it was a city built around an astronomical tower, with rooms of concave obsidian mirrors to project the passage of the sky and rescue the writing of the stars. The oldest news about Isla Mujeres date back to between 564 and 1516 A.D., and name it as a Mayan province of Ekab; that is, one of the four Mayan territories that were part of what is now the state of Quintana Roo. In those times, Isla Mujeres was not a town, but a sanctuary for the veneration of the goddess Ixchel, patroness of weaving, the moon, happiness and abundance.
