Budget airlines, the first to sign up to operate at Tulum's new airport

Despite being in the same state, Tulum does not have the same tourist target as Cancun and Playa del Carmen. On the other hand, the person who prefers to visit Tulum is someone who has more purchasing power, but rather than staying in the big resorts, they are looking for a more immersive experience in the culture of the place, preferring stays that make them connect with nature, even if this means spending a little more on their vacations. 

In this sense, the tourist profile of Tulum will be transferred to the travelers occupying the Tulum International Airport, being mostly foreigners from Europe that curiously due to the interest of budget airlines will offer better rates to these customers with higher purchasing power.
